The verdict, before anything else

Candy Shorts do one thing well: they turn a familiar adult fantasy into a tight little story you can finish in minutes. The setups are smart more often than you would expect, the platform's own characters have real personality, and the free opening of each series lets you judge before paying.

Where it falls down is value at the top end. A handful of series ask a lot of tokens for a few minutes of video, and the gap between a 36-token story and a 400-token one is not always visible on screen. Our recommendation: treat Candy Shorts as a catalogue to cherry-pick from, not a library to binge.

What you actually get

On our data date, October 20, 2026, the catalogue held 167 series and 929 episodes. A typical episode runs about 66 seconds. Series are grouped into genres such as Taboo, MILF, Wives, Stepmom, Fantasy and Cuckold, and 27 of them carried the New badge.

Every series opens with free episodes, 335 in total, usually the first 2. Some series star licensed digital twins of real performers, with Riley Reid leading at 7 series. Others star recurring AI characters like Margot Vey, who pop up across several stories.

All of it is AI generated, all characters are adults, and the whole thing is aimed at adults who like a story with their erotic content. Titles stay in English, so what you see is what you search for.

What it costs

After the free episodes, each paid episode costs between 12 and 50 tokens depending on the series. Tokens come through a Candy.ai subscription or a top-up. Plans on our data date ranged from $3.99 a month on the 12-month plan ($47.88 billed yearly) to a 1-week plan at $5.60, with a 1-month plan that starts at $9.99 and renews at $13.99.

In practice, finishing a short series with a non-twin character often costs 36 tokens, while big twin productions climb to 150 or even 400. Our cost guide breaks down every plan and the full-run maths.

Who is behind it

Candy Shorts are made and sold by Candy.ai, a platform for AI companions where you can chat with characters and request images. The Shorts are its video side: scripted series that use the same characters, plus licensed twins of real performers.

That matters for two reasons. First, your account, payments and tokens all sit with Candy.ai, so their terms apply. Second, the characters you meet in a series exist beyond it, and you can talk to them on the platform afterwards. We explain the wider platform in Candy AI explained.

We are not part of Candy.ai. CandyShort Buzz is an independent fan guide, and some of our outgoing links are affiliate links. That never changes a verdict.

Cancelling and refunds

Subscriptions renew automatically unless you cancel, and that includes the short plans. If you only want a week or two, consider cancelling soon after you subscribe. On many subscription services you keep access until the period ends, but check how Candy.ai handles it in your account settings before you rely on that.

Refunds are a matter for Candy.ai and its terms, not for us. In general, digital content you have already unlocked and watched is hard to get money back for, so assume a purchase is final and read the provider's terms before paying. Tokens spent on episodes are spent.

Pros and cons at a glance

What we like:

  • Every series has free episodes, so you never pay blind.
  • Short episodes, quick stories, no filler.
  • Recurring AI characters with distinct personalities.
  • Licensed twins rather than unlicensed lookalikes.
  • Plenty of cheap series at 36 tokens to finish.

What we do not like:

  • Twin series can get expensive fast.
  • The 1-month plan renews at a higher price.
  • Story quality varies a lot between series.
  • You are buying minutes of video, not hours.

Who should skip it

If you want long-form content, skip it: even a 10-episode series is over in minutes. If AI-generated adult content does not sit well with you, skip it; nothing here will change your mind. And if you tend to forget about subscriptions, either pick a top-up or set a reminder before you sign up.

For everyone else, the free episodes are the right first step. Start with a cheap series in a genre you like, finish it, then decide whether you want more. Our free episodes page and the episode guide make that easy.

Quick answers

Are Candy Shorts worth it?

Selectively, yes. The free episodes are always worth a look, and the cheaper series are good value. The most expensive twin series are mainly for fans of that performer.

Who makes Candy Shorts?

Candy.ai, the AI companion platform. CandyShort Buzz is an independent fan guide and is not run by Candy.ai.

Can I get a refund on Candy Shorts?

Refunds depend on Candy.ai's own terms. Read them before paying, and treat tokens spent on episodes as final.

How do I cancel a Candy Shorts subscription?

Through your account settings on Candy.ai. Cancel before the renewal date to avoid being charged for the next period.
